Ancient Wisdom for Modern Women
In Qigong for Women, Lisa B. O’Shea teaches you to understand the different aspects of your body’s energy, how to determine if there is a problem in your circulation, and the qigong techniques to improve these issues. Qigong (energy work) is a Chinese healing system that has been practiced for centuries.
Part One of this program introduces the five elements theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which divides up the body into networks called organ systems. These organ systems control the energy flow within our bodies and are responsible for keeping us healthy and balanced.
Part Two teaches Qi (energy) cultivation. We will discuss in detail how energy imbalances within each of our organ systems affects us physically and emotionally as well as how they influence the relationships we have with others. Specific health issues that affect women will be discussed: heart and breast health, PMS and menopause, sex drive, issues with the reproductive system, autoimmune problems, bone density, aging, and many more. You will also learn “Healthy Balance Qigong”, a series of exercises designed specifically to correct problems with your energy flow.
In Part Three, you will learn a powerful “Yin Essence Meditation” to build up your energy for longevity and constitutional health.
- Clear your energy blockages and increase your circulation
- Balance your emotions and improve your mental and physical health
- Heal yourself and age gracefully with Qigong and meditation

This program is accessible to women of all ages and abilities and can be practiced in a seated position. With Qigong for Women, you can take charge of your health and develop a deep sense of balance in body, mind, and spirit.
