Kucheng Performance
Kucheng, a long-history traditional plucking instrument in China. It was invented in around 231 B.C.. Owing to its long history and widely prevalence, the exquisite skillful art of kucheng features not only in its variety and gracefulness, but also its fusing with regional folk music.
Presented in this album are two well-prevailed Buddhist tunes, conceiving oriental religious thoughts in the graceful tone of kucheng. Whether indicating the profound religious philosophy or praising with heart originally, these two tunes express the spirit by delicate notes to capture this transcendent and mysterious world.
